REPORTS TO: Loan Operations Manager
HOURS: Full-time 8-4:30
FSLA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Hourly Wage: $28.00 - $34.00
POSITION SUMMARY: Prepares loan documents for all loan types. Scans loan documents into the document imaging system. Balances GL accounts and reviews loan payments daily. Provides general administrative support to the commercial lenders and other credit department staff. Provides backup to Loan Operations Assistant as needed.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates commercial and consumer loan document packages. Ensures loan files are complete and borrower information is up to date with regards to pending loan requests through conducting an independent file review, using established checklists, and working with portfolio assistants or lenders to resolve any errors or omissions.
- Remit participation payments to correspondent banks, review loan payment activity, and balance respective general ledger and other accounts daily. Correspond with other banks to ensure proper balancing between parties.
- Complete monthly and quarterly reports for the Board of Directors.
- Provide backup to the Loan Operations Assistant with respect to their primary responsibilities including loan booking, maintenance, payment processing, and scanning loan documents into document imaging system. Also provides backup to Credit Administration Assistant when needed.
- Pull credit reports, UCC searches, flood certificates and title work as directed by other bank staff.
- Provides quality customer service including answering basic customer questions and follow up as needed. Provide additional support to lenders and Credit Department as requested.
Education
- Minimum of 2-year college degree.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years loan support experience, with Loan Documentation preparation (including specifically within Laserpro) experience preferred.

- After 90 days of employment, up to 6 days per month of remote work allowed, depending on experience and performance.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 depending upon experience
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday, including rotating Saturday morning.
Position responsibilities include:
- Performs a full range of banking services to individual and business customers, with emphasis on deposit and fee-based services. Meets with customers to discuss needs and identify/recommend solutions to needs. Opens all types of new accounts. Cross-sells a full range of banking products/services to new and existing customers. Participates in sales activities and business development initiatives. Willingly travels to/from other locations, as staffing needs dictate.
- Opens/closes all deposit accounts for commercial and consumer customers, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and all digital banking products.
- Maintains favorable customer relations and effectively cross-sells Bank services through needs identification thus ensuring the most positive and profitable relationship exists between the Bank and its customers.
- Acts as back up to teller area when needed. Prepares daily settlement of work. Accurate in balancing drawer and counting cash. Maintain maximum security over bank assets, ensuring cash and negotiable items are always secure. Stays within established drawer limits. Processes currency transaction reports, checks identification, signatures, stop payments, etc. Scrutinizes negotiable instruments with potential for fraud.
- Communicates effectively with supervisor, manager, and co-workers.

Education
· High school diploma or general education degree plus 2 years additional bank-related training or Associates degree
Experience
· A minimum of 2 years related retail banking experience and/or training
· Equivalent combination of education and experience
